Maiden Love™ was created by Maya Greven, a mixed media artist originally from Chicago. Inspired to create soft toys by a tiny pink elephant left to her by her Grandmother, she designed and crafted a colorful herd in Big Sur, California. Condors soared by the studio windows while her designs sold out and soon traveled around the world.

Maiden Love™ began on a ranch among the ancient redwoods, oaks and golden hills, but her artwork and studio traveled, gaining attention along the way being featured in: NBC New York, San Francisco's Renegade Craft Fair, noted artisan collective Nest, Top Five One-of-a-Kind Baby Gifts in Portland, Oregon, and featured numerous times by Etsy in their Luxury Gift Guide and Baby Gift Guides. 

 

Proceeds from each elephant sold have been donated to the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, and regional charities have also been supported over the years. Mindful in production methods, only the highest quality materials are chosen, including  organic, locally sourced, vintage and reclaimed fabrics. Each piece is handmade, one-of-a-kind and created with great attention given to each and every detail. It's made with purpose. It's made to last. It's Maiden Love™!
